Iconic’s Furniture Donation Program

At Iconic, our philosophy is simple; furniture is a necessity, not a privilege. Unfortunately, for thousands of individuals, this statement is far from the truth. Enjoying the comforts of a warm bed or eating at a dining table is only but a dream. We believe Iconic has a responsibility to help turn this dream into a reality, which is why we have launched our ‘Furniture Donation Program.’

We have partnered with both Furniture Bank and Mississauga Furniture Bank to help transform the lives of those less fortunate within the GTA. In receiving gently used furniture, these families and individuals can make their houses into homes and enjoy the basic comforts they deserve.

Every year, 50,000 people within the GTA are living without adequate furniture. These include:

In 2016, Furniture Bank served 10,733 clients, donating 67,393 items. 3,897 of these clients were children, 3,761 were newcomers or refugees and 1,947 were formerly homeless.

In 2017, Mississauga Furniture Bank made an average of 52 deliveries per month, serving 439 families within just the Peel and Halton regions.
